Audyssey Laboratories has announced a new room calibration system designed specifically to maximize subwoofer performance. The Sub Equalizer automatically sets the level and delay time for one or two subwoofers then performs room equalization using Audyssey's MultEQ XT technology to ensure that the subwoofer blends with the main or satellite speakers. The Sub Equalizer will be available July 1 with a suggested retail price of $799. The Sub Equalizer will be available from custom installers who use MultEQ to calibrate listening rooms.
