CEDIA News: Auralex Announces Room Analysis Advice Options

Auralex Acoustics has introduced three room analysis options to help consumers solve room acoustic problems. Option One is a free room analysis available in three formats: standard, large and home theater. The customer fills out a form (available online or in the Auralex catalog), sends it to Auralex via email or fax and the company will make placement suggestions for room acoustic treatments. Option Two is the Room Analysis Plus system, which involves the customer recording a frequency sweep of the room using an omni-directional microphone and a PC. The recorded WAV file is sent to Auralex to pinpoint acoustic problems and an offer suggestions to correct the problems. The Room Analysis Plus system is available to consumers for $299, which includes all tools necessary to measure the room (except the PC). Option Three, the Room Analysis Pro is a service provided by an Auralex representative who will visit the site, take acoustic measurements and develop a report outlining recommendations.
