ReQuest makes whole house music and movie systems using a hard disk drive component as the core of the system. ReQuest systems enable control of the system from any room in the home, and are expandable to as many as forty-two zones or rooms with as many as seven sources. iPod is one of the most popular sources for whole house systems and ReQuest has introduced the NetSync for iTunes to sync your iPod or iPhone with a ReQuest music server.
What is NetSync for iTunes?:
NetSync for iTunes is an application for ReQuest whole house music and movie servers that synchronizes your iTunes library, iPod and iPhone with the server so anyone in any zone can listen to your music library. Even if you take your iPod with you, your music is still stored on the server. It automatically synchs with your iTunes when you tell it to and if you find a song you like on the server, you can upload it to your iTunes library. Most whole house music systems have an iPod dock, but NetSync stores your iTunes on the hard disc drive and syncs with a player when you tell it to.
