Line Level Audio Signal

Definition: Line level is a term used to describe the strength of an audio signal. A line level audio signal is used to transmit an analog signal between a CD player, DVD player or tape deck and a receiver.
Examples: A line level audio connection is necessary to connect a tape deck to a receiver.
