Peripheral Announces Automotive Multimedia Gateway at SEMA

Peripheral Electronics will dedicate several displays to its first-ever PXAMG Automotive Multimedia Gateway for numerous late-model Ford, GM and Toyota vehicles. The Gateway seamlessly integrates iPod™, HD Radio™, USB devices and many other portable media products into the factory audio system—without losing any of the factory features and controls. The Gateway plugs into the factory radio and provides dual iPod control from either the clickwheel or the factory radio. It works with the iPhone and all iPod versions that use the standard 30-pin dock connector, allowing users to track forward and back for songs and browse by artist, playlist, genre and album. The Gateway retains OEM satellite radio, rear-seat entertainment controls and key driver convenience features for a seamless user experience. An extra auxiliary input supports many other portable electronics, from navigation and game systems to satellite radio tuners and DVD players.
