Check Speaker Size in Set Up Menu

Check the speaker size settings in the receiver’s settings by opening the menu on the receiver. If the speaker size for the main speakers is set to ‘LARGE’ it is likely that the subwoofer is not receiving any signal. Set the main speakers to ‘SMALL’ and try the subwoofer again. Note: Some receivers will allow the subwoofer to operate with a “LARGE’ speaker setting. Consult the owner’s manual about these settings.
